account information. your email address, dj name, and city when you create an account.profile information. details you choose to add, including bio, links, genres, experience level, gig frequency, and profile photo.event data. events you create, including dates, times, venues, equipment selections, and notes.equipment data. gear you add to your personal equipment list.usage data. how you interact with the app, including screens visited and features used, collected through
amplitude analytics. this data is anonymized and used to improve the app experience.device information. basic device type and operating system information for troubleshooting and compatibility.location data. if you grant permission, we use location data to provide venue search and address autocomplete features via google places. you can disable location services at any time through your device settings.how we use your information.
we use your information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the soundchq app.
- save your events, equipment, and profile information.
- send account-related emails (e.g. password resets, verification).
analyze usage patterns to improve the app experience.
- provide venue search and address features.we do not sell your personal information to third parties. we do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.third-party services.
we use the following third-party services to operate the app:- supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- resend — transactional email delivery.
- google places — address search and autocomplete.
- amplitude — anonymous usage analytics.each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data. we only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function.data storage and security.
your data is stored securely using supabase, which provides industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. profile photos and equipment images are stored in secure cloud storage.while we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.your rights.
you can:- access your data through the app at any time.
- update your profile, events, and equipment through the app.
- delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at team@soundchq.com.for california residents (ccpa). you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any sale of personal information. we do not sell personal information. to exercise these rights, contact us at team@soundchq.com.for eu/eea residents (gdpr). you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and port your data. you also have the right to withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. to exercise these rights, contact us at team@soundchq.com.data retention.
we retain your data for as long as your account is active. if you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. anonymized usage data may be retained for analytical purposes.children.
soundchq is not intended for users under 13 years of age. we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. if we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.changes to this policy.

by using soundchq, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use the app.what soundchq is.
soundchq is an event management app for djs. it helps you manage gigs, track your equipment, and access venue information. the app is currently in beta testing.your account.
- you must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- you are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- you must be at least 13 years old to use soundchq.
- one account per person. don't share your login credentials.your content.
you own the content you create in soundchq — your events, notes, equipment lists, profile information, and any other data you add. we don't claim ownership of your content.by using the app, you grant us permission to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the soundchq service.acceptable use.
you agree not to:- use the app for any illegal purpose.
submit false or misleading venue information.
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
- use automated tools to scrape data from the app.venues and equipment data.
soundchq provides venue and equipment information for reference purposes. we do our best to keep this information accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all venue details, equipment listings, or other community-contributed data is current or correct. always confirm details directly with venues.beta testing.
soundchq is currently in beta. this means:- features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- data loss is possible, though we do our best to prevent it.
- the app is provided "as is" without warranties.
we appreciate your feedback — it helps us build a better product.availability.
we aim to keep soundchq available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. the app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.termination.
you can stop using soundchq and delete your account at any time by contacting us at team@soundchq.com.we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.limitation of liability.
soundchq is provided "as is." to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost data, missed events, or inaccurate venue information.changes to these terms.
